A Regency Suspended Argand
					England
							Circa 1825

This beautiful suspended argand has a three-sided cast canopy holding chains of two-tone gilt-lacquered links and rings. The large urn shaped font is ornamented by a cast collar of grape vine as is the bowl of the chandelier. Lyre-shaped ornaments extend between the body and the burner tubes concealing the feeder tubes. The air vents appear as spun brass cups decorated with cast rings of flowers.
