This marvelous argand exhibits some of the wealth of forms utilized in Regency lighting. Its presence is accomplished by using a large urn form with a striking patinated finish and fine foliate cast details. A brass tag on the burner tube reads: SMETHURST / MANUFACTURER / 130 NEW BOND STREET.
