Suspended Argand
					England
							Circa 1820
Marked on each burner tube: MILLERS PATENT/ 173. PICCADILLY

This beautiful Regency suspended argand retains its original frosted and cut glass dish. The canopy is composed of cast laurel leaves. Pierced palmettes ornament the supporting frame. Scrolling and reeded arms extend the burners and shades. The individual amphoric-shaped font for each burner is a unique feature. The fixture is handsome when viewed from below and makes an elegant classical statement.
