Regency Sinumbras

England
Circa 1830

The unique designs of these handsome sinumbra lamps are achieved by composing the standards of tapering organic stems ornamented with five pairs of leaves in graduated sizes. The bases are made up of four-sided plinths of cast branches, leaves, tendrils, and clusters of berries. The lamps have beautiful two-tone gilt lacquered finishes and are completed with period frosted shades resting on fonts with fine stamped brass decorative rings.
