These exceptional and rare pedestals were fashioned by one of London’s premier ornamental plaster modelers. Publ^d 25^T March 1803 Rob^T Shout/High Holbern/London is impressed on the bases and under the tops in script lettering. Featured are three classical maidens standing with arms intertwined. These are supported by large crouching lion’s legs centering lion’s heads above a concave three-sided base. The circular top is adorned with classical foliate motifs.
