Modeled by J.B. Klagmann, bronze statuettes of Ondine and Bacchus were first exhibited at the Paris Salon of 1859. Parian forms, dated 1861, were recorded in the Minton shape book. The same forms were also offered in 1873 with colored clays and glazed finishes on elaborate pedestals.
