This fine pair of Grand Tour Models, known as Trajan’s Column and the Column of Marcus Aurelius are topped with bronze figures of the Roman Emperiors. Each column features characters depicting significant battle scenes spiraling up columns of marmo rosso antico set on bases of marmo nero belgio.The plinths bear gilt inscriptions in Latin.
