Classical Library Table

Boston, Massachusetts

A rarely encountered form, this large Boston library table is in the Regency taste associated with Classical Boston. Beautiful mahogany veneers cover nearly every surface. The plinth is supported by four large scrolled feet resting on concealed brass casters. A massive standard supports the oval top. Two of the four conforming drawers are fitted with locks. The leather is hand dyed and features exquisite gold leaf and blind tooling.
