This handsome three-light Regency chandelier is shown in a beautiful patinated and gilt lacquer finish. The canopy is modeled with stylized leaves and the chain is composed of flat vine-like links ornamented with paired rosettes. Three classical masks are mounted on the large font and the pan displays the identical masks. Cast lotus leaves compose the drip cups. An untitled English lamp manufacturer’s trade catalog at Winterthur illustrates the identical chandelier as a four-light example.
