A Suspended Argand

Circa 1835

This splendid fixture features the rare combined lighting sources of candle power and oil with twelve candle arms and four argand lamps. Adorned with foliate and floral ornamentation centering a classical amphoric urn, the fixture retains a stunning period two-tone gilt finish.
