A Regency Sinumbra
England
Circa 1825
This stunning sinumbra in a patinated finish depicts a maiden draped in classical robes and carrying a basket of grapes on her head. The pedestal is rectilinear with canted corners which have been adorned with foliate cast volutes above a shaped base. The blown, frosted, and cut shade is stunning with circles, loops, and star motifs.
