A Regency Argand

In the style of an ancient lamp, this handsome argand is displayed in an overall patinated finish. Classical wreaths are mounted on the font. The handle is composed of a pair of coiled snakes and the body of the lamp is decorated with a pair of classical masks in the manner of Thomas Hope. The entire lamp is raised on four lion’s paw feet ornamented with foliate decoration and rosettes.
