A French Set of Corbeilles

In this magnificent set, two beautiful round corbeilles are paired with an exquisite centerpiece in a navette form. The round corbeilles utilize much of the same decoration as the centerpiece. Complementing the gilt surfaces, a delicate green painted pattern encircles each basket. Biscuit angels with gilt buttons on their gowns and matte gold wings support the central basket. The plinth they are kneeling on is decorated with an intricate pattern of Classical details in gilt decoration. The side of the plinth is finished in matte and bright gilt details. The entire corbeille rests on four gilded animal paw feet.
