A French Empire Corbeille

In a navette form, this beautiful reticulated corbeille is of a larger size and is distinguished by an uncommon ten-sided base. The white glazed porcelain is decorated with gilded and lavender painted surfaces. Around the painted band, individual images of birds are depicted within gilded reserves.
