A Diminutive Sinumbra

England
Circa 1825

This sinumbra is the only figural example I have seen in a diminutive size. It depicts a figure of Atlas holding up the heavens. Finished in an overall patinated finish, the figure stands upon a cylindrical shaped pedestal which is supported by a double-stepped octagonal shaped plinth. The lamp is topped by a beautiful frosted and cut shade.
