A Classical Etagere

On this handsome Boston etagere, figured mahogany shelves are supported by four sets of turned columns which graduate to slightly taller heights until they reach the two drawers. The fronts of the drawers are veneered with figured crotch mahogany. All of this is raised on delicately turned legs with brass ferrules and casters in gilt-lacquered finishes.
