A Classical Bergere

This stylish bergere is made with a barrel-like back with a boldly shaped crest rail adorned in beautiful mahogany veneers. The ends of the crest rail are ornamented with small turned rosettes. The arms terminate in scrolls finished with concentric turned rosettes. The seat is a separate original stitched hair pad. The front legs are elegantly turned and tapered while the back legs rack outward. All the legs are finished with brass ferrules and casters in gilt-lacquered finishes.
