4 Classical Side Chairs

Boston, Massachusetts
Circa 1830

The distinct pattern of these chairs is unique to Boston with their precedents in English Regency designs. The wide panels in the backs of the chairs are adorned with beautiful crotch walnut veneers. The stiles terminate in subtle foliate carvings. The chair seats are covered in an appropriate Scalamandre classical fabric.
