2-Lt Gas Pillar Lamp
Attributed to Cornelius & Company
This rare pillar or counter lamp is an elegant form. With two adjustable lights, these were made to be used on counters to illuminate shops. Each space was lined with multiple fixtures making quite a stunning display. In patinated and gilt-lacquered finishes the design is comprised of rococo, gothic, and classical motifs.
