A Classical Desk and Work Table

This table is based on a Thomas Sheraton design for a dressing table. The rectilinear top is banded in mahogany and inlaid with brass stringing. Concealing a writing surface and two storage wells with original hand blocked papers, the case is raised on an intricately carved trestle base with paw feet and brass casters.
